Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty (nasal reshaping) procedures produce some of the happiest patients a plastic surgeon will see. He has been performing this operation for over 20 years in his AAAASF-certified surgicenter. He believes the perfect nose exists in harmony with the other features. The nose should balance the rest of the head. It should be straight and have clean lines. It should be neither too large nor too small. There should be nothing about the nose that draws attention to it.

All procedures are performed under general anesthesia administered by anesthesiologists. Usually the procedure is performed entirely through incisions made within the nostrils so that there are no external scars. Reshaping of the nose can take from 1 to 2 hours.

Patients will experience some pain and swelling for several days following the procedure. Bruising of the lower eyelids may last 2 to 3 weeks. Most of the swelling is gone in ten days, although it may take many months before all of the swelling has resolved.
