Breast Lift (Mastopexy)

Others wish to increase or decrease the size of their breasts. Others want only for their breasts to match. Breast lift operations are performed in our AAAAASF-certified surgicenter. Most procedures are done under general anesthesia administered by anesthesiologists. The length of the operation can vary from one hour to several hours. The incisions range from fairly minimal to quite extensive depending on how much skin tightening is required to create the desired breast shape. Breast operations always leaves some permanent scars, but in the vast majority of patients, these scars fade very nicely with time.

Recovery time is dependent on how extensive the breast correction is and whether an implant is used. Breast correction procedures usually results in some pain and swelling for several days. Most patients are able to resume most of their daily activities in a few days. Full exercise may begin in 2 weeks unless implants are used.
